Mrs Rockell took on the 100km Peak District challenge to raise money for the new book corner resources. Thank you to parents and carers for all their sponsorship money.
January 24th to 28th 2022 we welcomed Naomi from Animal Encounters. Naomi and her range of animals joined us each day. The children were so excited every day to come in and be able to see, touch and hold the animals. They were fantastically behaved and Naomi was able to speak to the children in small groups. We welcomed the children to bring in photos of their pets at home so we could share the photos at carpet time.
December 2nd 2021 saw our first wreath making night hosted by the committee. It was a great evening with mulled wine, music and home made fudge. The ladies that attend made some great creations and the left over items were sold as make your own wreath kits.
October saw our first pumpkin party on Saturday 23rd October organised by the committee, with 30 pumpkins ready to decorate, a disco, smoke machine and lots of games and crafts, it was a huge success and we loved seeing all their faces at the weekend now that restrictions have allowed. Thank you to all the parents for supporting our fundraising event.
